2011 -2012 Season

January 20 & 21, 2012: Comedy at the Gallery 

with Jay Whittaker, Emily Jay, Frosty Sorensen, Clarence Socwell,  TJ Pollack, Dee Rygh and Amber Dougherty presenting standup comedy, songs, and comedy skits.  Special Event Ticket:  $10.  Since 4 of the cast members are active military half of the proceeds will be donated to a Military Charity.

March 23 & 24, 2012: A Birthday Present by Duane Rygh

May 18 & 19, 2012: Disappearing Act by Paul Birkbeck

The Gallery Theater, a Community Theater that produces one-act plays by local authors. This gallery has an open seating policy and is limited to an audience of 50.

Curtain nightly at 7:00; doors open at 6:30 p.m.  Saturday Matinee curtain at 2:00 p.m.; door open at 1:30 p.m.

Ticket: $8 /performance/person.  Please call art center staff during business hours to reserve your ticket: 801-392-6935.

The plays at the Gallery Theater are not recommended for young children or infants. Children must have their own ticket.

 NOTE: All plays produced at Gallery Theater are original scripts written by local playwrights.  All proceeds go the Eccles Community Art Center, a nonprofit organization.

Call for Theater Personnel: Experienced and/or talented amateur actors of various ages, directors, technical staff, stage hands, and playwrights are needed on a volunteer basis. To be on a calling list, submit name, address, phone number, a statement of interest, and a resume of experience. Actors should include a physical description and/or current photograph.
