Selected art work created by the secondary students  in Ogden City & Weber County School District will be featured at the Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden in the main and second floor galleries during April 2017.  The work of the students from Ogden City Schools will be on exhibit March 27 through April 12, 2017 with the work of the Weber School District students will be displayed April  13 through 29,20 17.  Works from the DaVinci Academy will be displayed all month in the dining room.  A reception in association with Ogden’s First Friday Art Stroll is scheduled for Friday, April 7, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m.   Ogden School District student awards will be posted at the Art Stroll Reception.  Weber School District student awards will be announced after April 13th.  The Carriage House Gallery will exhibit and Invitational exhibit with works by a variety of Northern Utah artists.

  

 The Secondary  Student Competitions brings selected works from local Junior High and High Schools to the Eccles Community Art Center.  The Ogden City and Weber County School District staff provide judging and awards for the competition.  A best of show is presented to a work by both a Junior High and High School students with first, second, third and honorable mention awards presented in a variety of other categories.  These exhibits are popular with the art center patrons and members of the community.

  

The staff of the Eccles Community Art Center invites you to visit these exhibits throughout the month of April.  Regular gallery hours are weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  For information call us at 801-392-6935.
