Dear Artist,

We are sending out a call for submissions for the 2017 Eccles Community Art Center (ECAC) annual art auction.  The auction chair and committee look forward to your participation!

The committee is continuing the process for submitting art works that was established last year.  They are requesting that you submit a maximum of  two artworks.  A jury will review all submissions and ECAC staff will notify those who are selected for inclusion.

Please follow these guidelines when you prepare your art for submission:

  • Digital images in a JPEG (.jpg) format of your art works are preferred.
  • Before January 3, 2017 please email your digital images to or
  • On or before  January 25, 2017, ECAC staff will contact via return email artists whose work has been accepted for the auction.  If you have not received a response, please follow up with an additional call or email.
  • By February 10, 2017, the actual artwork needs to be delivered to ECAC.
  • If you are unable to provide digital images, submit photographs or slides in person or by mail.  The ECAC staff must receive these images before December 30, 2016.

Artists should set reserve prices for their two artworks (minimum acceptable bid, less commission).  These may be noted in your email.  ECAC will collect a commission of 50% of the maximum bid on all works sold, with the artist receiving the balance (50%) of the maximum bid.  If your minimum bid is not the Fair Market Value of the work, please provide the Fair Market Value in your email.

The art auction committee determines which items are offered for the live auction. Your digital images will be used at the online auction web site for promotion and silent auction bidding.

Thank you so much for your continued support!  Your participation ensures a successful event.
