Awards Announced
219 Utah artists enter 356 works in the 13th Black & White Statewide Competition at the Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden. The entries were varied on all levels, with excellent representations in the mediums, and from artists throughout the state.
The jurors, artists Paul Trentelman of Ogden and David Estes of Salt Lake City chose 240 pieces to be included in this exhibition.
The Eccles Community Art Center presents monetary awards in association with this exhibition. Due to an overwhelming response in entries this year, sixteen additional honorable mention awards were chosen by the jurors.The awards presented on February 3rd are as follows:

The Eccles Community Art Center would like to invite the public to view the art of the 13th Black & White Statewide Competition. The Art Center's regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The exhibit continues through February 25, 2012. Admission is free.
