NEWS/EVENTS:
Second Saturday Arts: Second Saturday Arts are family activity days that are held on the second Saturday of the month beginning September through May. Instruction and activities begin at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Activities will be held in rooms and studios with a limited capacity, and are based on a first come first served basis. Activities are visual and performing art experiences that parents can explore with their children. The Art Center will partner with other local organization and groups to provide a more varied experience and introduce participants to the resources available in the community.

May 10th: May Flowers
April 12th: April is poetry month! Members from the Ben Lomond Poets assist in writing and reading poetry.
Art Project: Collage
March 8th: Batik & African Dance:
February 9th: Printmaking with artist Kristin Kapp
January 12th: Utah Calligraphy Artists, Adele Greenleaf and Mary Wells will help participants create a handmade book with an illuminated letter.

Next Play at the Gallery Theater at the Eccles Community Art Center
MOODS AND MANIA, by Mary Ellen Lykins, Clarence Socwell, and Kent Winward—back by popular demand—an entertaining look at the experiences and moods of a group of troubled troubadours caught in an ambiguous dimension.

Tickets may be purchased at the art center in advance of the performance or at the door.

Doors 6:30 p.m., Curtain 7:00 p.m. No tickets will be sold at the door for this performance.
Advance tickets must be purchased at Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden.
Tickets $8, each. $35.00. Call 392-6935 for tickets and reservations.
The plays at the Gallery Theater are not recommended for young children or infants.
Children must have their own ticket.
NOTE: All plays produced at Gallery Theater are original scripts written by local playwrights. All proceeds go the Eccles Community Art Center, a nonprofit organization.
